Date Night for her
Outdoor Movie

What you need:
•  T.V. or projector/projector screen

•  D.V.D. player

•  A movie she's been wanting to see or loves seeing over and over again. :)

•  Popcorn, pop, and candy

•  Blankets (if she gets too cold a heating blanket can work wonders)

This takes a little bit of work, but it's a cheap and different way to have a movie night.  If you have access to a projector that's an easy way to set up the movie, but if not a t.v. works too!  Set up the t.v. or projector with the d.v.d. player outside.  Use camp chairs or just a blanket to sit on.  Bring out the refreshments on a tray and then ask her to come outside!

You can also print up or somehow make movie tickets for her to get into the movie.

If getting your t.v. outside is to difficult, don't be afraid to ask around about who has a projector, you'd be surprised how many people have one.  And then just use a white sheet for the screen.

Many of you have kids, which makes it hard to have a date night if you don’t have family around, and sometimes even if you do. I have a friend who takes turns with her neighbors/friends. She’ll watch their kids one week while they have a date night, and the next week they’ll watch their kids while she goes on a date night with her husband. I’m sure there are other creative ways to get away. If you have one, let us know so we can help others.
